Atma Sanchay Project

This year we motivate around 400 slum dwellers and BPL women to open Zero Balance saving account in Nationalized Bank Canara Bank, Tuialadungri and program is ongoing in CHHAYANAGAR,CHANDINAGAR,DEBNAGAR and more slum areas, Jamshedpur, where a collection center is established.

Chhau-Nukkad- Ballet(Mask-Street-Ballet)

Under IEC activities chhau Nukkad Ballet program has been organized in East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur. Nippon Foundation Chairman Sri Sasakwa appreciated the idea and encouraged our organization. Through this program, we spread the message of the Leprosy treatment program and social stigma of this disease.

WELFARE

Sustainable development using the most possible resources the place can have can also be a big help for one’s well being and survival mainly for the unprivileged society. Forming the Self-help groups for the BPL is one of the programs Sparsh initiated for sustainable development, this took place in Latehar. Followed by various programs regarding sustainable development among the poor particularly the women.

HEALTH

Sparsh initiated various programs ad activities in relation to health that includes awareness campaigns on different diseases, family planning, child psychology, leprosy campaign, polio programs, sanitation, malaria prevention, with the help and support from the Government of Jharkhand Department of Health and Family Planning, resource person experts on the various health concerns.

EDUCATION

Under the “Gurukul Project” in the education field, areas of vital interests for out of school youths, children, and dropped outs were the organization’s concern. Feasibility studies of the places of interests in which schools are if not far and out of reach for these children, chiefly the children of rural areas are capable of English learning through our 23 Gurukul Public Schools in three states BIHAR, JHARKHAND, WEST BENGAL and now ANDHRAPRADESH.

International Women’s Day

Our organization has organized International Women’s Day in remote villages of East Singhhum, Jamshedpur. Rakhdih is a remote village of Jharkhand basically tribal area. Women presented their view before 300 strong gatherings.

Legal Awareness Camp

SPARSH, Jharkhand organized free legal Camp in Jamshedpur at Chhayanagar, BaridihBastee, and Bhalubasa Community Hall among slum dwellers and poverty-stricken community. Judicial Magistrate delivers the point of view before slum dwellers in Jamshedpur.

Environment Project

SPARSH has organized painting, Debate-speech competition, and plantation program in Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum. Children along with teachers interacted with habitants of slum and asked them to clean in and around their house. children, men, and women engaged in deferent activities of Environment project.

Career Counseling

The majority of districts of Jharkhand has been facing problems of Naxalism. The organisation organized a day camp on career counseling and advocacy in Singhpura Jwalkata in Gurabanda Block of East Singhbhum.

Information Technology Training for Girls

We adopted 107 slum areas under the ANCHAL project in which we surveyed 12 slum areas for the purpose of upliftment and their development in their livelihood. This Centre is inaugurated by Dr. PratibhaPandey ,Chairperson, Central Social Welfare Board, Jharkhand. We have taken an initiative for the placement of these trainees. We have got support from deferent local industries.
